Disclaimer: Mirage uses PSSR1 natively, so this page still displays PSSR1 metrics. However, as of September 26, the 'Enhance PSSR Image Quality' toggle (which forces PSSR2 upscaling) is activated by default. PSSR2 was made the default because it resolves a sharper, more stable image and removes PSSR1's film grain-like noise. Through PSSR, Pro combines the 4K resolution, better shadows/reflections, higher texture resolution, and improved draw distance seen in the base PS5's 30fps quality mode, with the 60fps seen in base PS5's performance mode. Pro's framerate is also a nearly locked 60fps and more stable than base PS5's performance mode.
