Disclaimer: AB uses PSSR1 natively, so this page still displays PSSR1 metrics. However, as of September 26, the 'Enhance PSSR Image Quality' toggle (which forces PSSR2 upscaling) is activated by default. PSSR2 was made the default because it resolves a sharper, more stable image and removes PSSR1's film grain-like noise. Digital Foundry also tested AB with PSSR2 and confirmed it fixed the issues mentioned below, so PSSR2 is therefore recommended.

Pro runs at 1368p-1872p DRS to 4K PSSR1 at a locked 60fps, and is more often in the higher DRS bounds. Despite Pro's DRS having a lower floor than base PS5, Pro's PSSR1 upscaling still resolves a sharper, less aliased image compared to base PS5's TAA. PSSR1 is however slightly noisier, especially its SSR (fixed with PSSR2).
