Disclaimer: CFB 26 uses PSSR1 natively, so this page still displays PSSR1 metrics. However, as of September 26, the 'Enhance PSSR Image Quality' toggle (which forces PSSR2 upscaling) is activated by default. PSSR2 was made the default because it resolves a sharper, more stable image and removes PSSR1's film grain-like noise. If you experience image quality issues though, deactivate the toggle in PS5 system settings to see if PSSR1 produces better results.
CFB 26 on Pro provides the same upgrades over base PS5 that CFB 25 had. Pro removes the resolution, performance and visual quality modes on base PS5 for just one mode. Pro's PSSR renders a sharper image than even base PS5's resolution mode and there's now 3D grass in gameplay, on more zoomed in cameras. However, PSSR also causes assets like crowd handrails to be more unstable. Pro's cutscenes/instant replays are now 60fps like in base PS5's performance mode and gameplay is a locked 60fps. Finally, the GIBS RT implementation seems unchanged.
