Like LN3 and even LN2 (which only has a base PS5 version as it got a next-gen update in 2021), graphics settings (shadows, lighting, RT reflections, etc) are the same in both modes. While performance mode has a slightly lower internal res before upscaling to 4K, the heavy post-processing results in there being very little difference in image quality/sharpness between the 2 modes. By picking beauty mode, you're just halving the framerate for no graphical benefit, unless you can't stand rare, single frame drops below 60fps. The same is true for base PS5, which has the same modes and no significant downgrade in resolution compared to the equivalent mode on Pro.
