Pro uses PSSR2 to upscale to 4K. While this resolves a sharper, more stable image than on base PS5, in practice, the IQ difference is only slight. This is because both consoles already have high resolutions in general. Fortunately, this is still an improvement for Pro owners who played 2K26. Last year's entry still used PSSR1 by default at launch, which created a less stable image. This was particularly seen on thin assets like hand railings. Pro also still maintains RT reflections that aren't available on base PS5, though both consoles still render cutscenes (crowd shots, replays, etc) at 30fps, while maintaining a locked 60fps in gameplay.
