Modes

quality: 1620p-1800p DRS to 4K TSR at a mostly stable, but unevenly-paced 30fps (rare dips to high 20s). Lumen reflections on all water bodies.

balanced: 1440p-1800p DRS to 4K TSR at a mostly stable, but unevenly-paced 40fps (rare dips to high 30s). Lumen reflections on small water bodies, SSR on large.

performance: 900p-1620p DRS to 4K TSR at a very stable 60fps (dips to low 50s in cities/some cutscenes). SSR on small water bodies, no reflections on large, plus other graphics reductions (check extra info).

Extra Information

Performance mode removes shadows animation at normal distances and reduces distant NPC animation to achieve a stable 60fps, especially in the open-world. It and balanced mode also reduce LoDs, draw distance, shadow res, and remove dust volumetrics. There's also no PSSR2, which would likely alleviate TSR's Lumen GI flicker, while resolving a sharper image with less breakup, especially in motion. These issues are especially bad in performance mode due to a low DRS.

Base PS5 has the same modes with similar graphics presets aside from water reflections (quality only has Lumen for small bodies and balanced uses SSR throughout). DRS is also lower at 1440p-1620p, 1080p-1620p, and 900p-1260p respectively. Finally, base PS5's 60fps is far worse, as it's constantly in the mid/low 50s during combat/tree-dense areas (Pro maintains 60fps here) and falls out of VRR in cities/towns (where it's mostly 900p) and some cutscenes.
