performance: 1440p PSSR at 60fps, which is achieved more often with frame gen on. Has all RT except for RT shadows and translucent surface reflections.
Disclaimer: TFD uses PSSR1 natively, so this page still displays PSSR1 metrics. However, as of September 26, the 'Enhance PSSR Image Quality' toggle (which forces PSSR2 upscaling) is activated by default. PSSR2 was made the default because it resolves a sharper, more stable image and removes PSSR1's film grain-like noise. If you experience image quality issues though, deactivate the toggle in PS5 system settings to see if PSSR1 produces better results.
One of the few Pro games to combine PSSR's upscaling with AMD's FSR frame generation, whereas base PS5 uses FSR for upscaling. You can toggle both RT and frame gen on/off in all modes. Frame gen increases framerates, but isn't recommended in any mode as the base framerate is too low, resulting in too much input lag.
